New generation strip feeding lines

Compact design – less floor space – modern drive concept – optimal leveling results

With the new precision leveling machine the usual distribution gear to drive the levelling rollers is abandoned. Instead KOHLER introdcued an energy efficient and sustainable drive concept with direct drives without cardan shafts. The compact machine design convinces with a smaller footprint and 20% less floor space. The inside area has been designed to allow for easy access to the drive motors.

The modular design as well as the optional equipment offer highest flexibility for your application.

Global Player KERN-LIEBERS has also chosen the newest generation KOHLER strip feeding lines for leveling of strip steel for stamped parts. Read more about this in the user report.

Second Line already in Use

Swiss fineblanking specialist comes back to KOHLER for another strip leveling line

As a specialist in fineblanking and forming technology, Feinstanz AG, based in Rapperswil-Jona, in the canton of St. Gallen, has stringent requirements when it comes to leveling precision, which is why the company has ordered a second strip leveling line from KOHLER. Following an in-depth consultation to determine the company's needs, a tailor-made line was produced which processes coils with a diameter of up to 2,000 mm, a width of 50 to 300 mm, and a weight of up to 7,000 kg. It is also equipped with a single decoiler, a 21-roller leveler with cleaning and quick-change device, as well as a hydraulically adjustable strip transfer table.

“The KOHLER machines level more precisely than any other lines on the market,” says Marco Gmür, Head of Production at Feinstanz AG.

Production Capacity Increased

Global leader in wheels and castors invests in the company's future with new KOHLER line

Blickle Räder+Rollen GmbH & Co. KG manufactures over 30,000 products in-house. To achieve the required quality, the material from the coil must be leveled before it is processed in the automatic stamping machines. To do so, Blickle ordered a modern strip leveling line with coil loading chair, single-sided decoiler, a leveler for sheets up to 12 mm thick, and a cost-saving hydraulic concept along with a strip transfer bridge as a loop pit which can be converted into a horizontal strip transfer table if required. The Managing Director of Blickle says: “The entire project with KOHLER, including the advice and technical support that was tailored exactly to our needs, was managed excellently.”
