The Aug. Winkhaus GmbH & Co. KG, a renowned family-owned company since 1854, has further strengthened its production capabilities with the commissioning of a new KOHLER strip leveling line at its Telgte site. Specializing in high-quality window, door, and access control solutions, Winkhaus has long relied on KOHLER's expertise to meet the growing demands for precision and efficiency.

 

The new strip leveling line is designed to process over 33,000 tons of steel annually, ensuring flat, low-stress strips essential for high-quality window fittings. Equipped with advanced features like a double-decoiler and a precision leveling machine with 21 hard chrome coated rollers, the line enhances productivity by enabling continuous operation and reducing downtime.

 

This state-of-the-art system also includes a loop controller for smooth material flow and an additional leveler for post-stamping precision. Together, these innovations not only streamline production but also maintain the exceptional quality Winkhaus is known for.
