Lasspektrum achieves top efficiency with KOHLER Peak Performer 

 

Located in Brno, Czech Republic, Lasspektrum produces a wide range of products, from racking systems to buses and airport equipment. Throughout their production process, sheet metal parts undergo numerous stages, including bending, straightening, machining, robotic welding, and various assembly steps.

 

As customer demands for tighter flatness tolerances increased, Lasspektrum decided to invest in a KOHLER Peak Performer 45P leveling machine. Previously, straightening 4,000 parts by hand took three weeks, but with the new machine, this task is completed in just an hour and a half.

 

"The machine exceeded my expectations in terms of straightening efficiency. I didn't expect it to align the parts so well. The saved manpower can be used elsewhere, and at the same time, the overall welding process is accelerated. The parts are then loaded into the machine in various ways, so we need the cut edge to be perfectly straight," says Petr Hvozdenský, director of Lasspektrum.

 

The machine delivery was swift, and thanks to our local partner, Canmet - Technologie zpracování plechu, it was set up in just one hour. The leveling process began on the very same day of delivery!
